Build the kit
A box that seals, something cold to drink, something warm to eat and a bag that carries all of it. Everything below is stocked and sized for school.
Compartments stop the sandwich meeting the yoghurt. Mepal, Crunchbox and Stephen Joseph all seal properly.
Kids Lunch Boxes (49)Straw lids for younger kids, double-wall stainless for anyone who leaves a bottle in a bag all day.

Kids Lunch Bags (19)The feature — family mealtime
Independence comes down to equipment a child can actually open, carry and clean. Compartment boxes they can fill themselves, lids that seal without adult hands, and bottles that go in the dishwasher at the end of it.

Before you buy
The four questions our stores get most about kids' lunch kit.
Midi boxes suit pre-school and light eaters; large Take A Break and five-compartment boxes carry a full school day with snacks.
Straw and flip lids are easier for younger children and less likely to spill in a bag. Screw caps stay sealed better for sport bottles.
Double-wall stainless flasks hold heat for several hours. Pre-warm with boiling water for a minute before filling and it lasts until lunch.
Most Mepal, Crunchbox and Stephen Joseph boxes are top-rack safe. Insulated stainless bottles and flasks are best washed by hand.
The whole range
Lunch, hydration, school carry and treats in one place.
Our kiddies range is built around the school day. Mepal's Take A Break and Campus boxes from the Netherlands, Crunchbox five-compartment lunchboxes, and Stephen Joseph bento boxes, snack boxes and backpacks in prints children actually choose. Alongside them sit Lizzard Hatchling flasks, Built insulated bags and stainless food flasks, and Mepal Campus bottles with flip straws.
For the kitchen itself there are Viners and Zwilling Bino children's cutlery sets, Nicolson Russell Brush & Barrow mugs with matching spoons, Ulster Weavers cotton aprons and Tala mini baking tools — plus Zoku ice pop, slow pop and chocolate moulds for afternoons at home. Everything is stocked, sized and chosen to encourage independence while it survives a term.
