The Small and easy to use sharpener has two wheels, rough and medium to put a new edge on your knife. Simply fill the container with water and run your knives back and forth through the slots applying moderate pressure, The water in the wheel compartment serves to rinse the revolving ceramic whetstones and to prevent over-heating the knife blade.
What distinguishes the MinoSharp from the MinoSharp 2 is the size of the ceramic wheels. The larger wheels of the MinoSharp 2 put a larger edge on your knives giving them a longer lasting edge.
