Chef’n was founded out of invention. In the 1980s, David Holcomb was a line cook prepping food; his most hated task was pressing garlic, one clove at a time. He took his frustration to the workshop and invented the garlic machine, a gadget that both presses and stores multiple garlic cloves at one time.
